Kiddie Parade Information
Kiddie Parade: Pancake Day Fun for the Little Ones
A Pancake Day favorite, the Kiddie Parade gives our youngest community members a chance to shine! Registration starts at 8:30 AM in front of the First United Methodist Church (410 N Main). Participants must be lined up by 9:40 AM for judging, with the parade stepping off at 10:00 AM sharp.
Categories include Bicycles, Costumes, Pets, and Floats/Small Vehicles. Power Wheels are welcome with a parent walking alongside, but motorized vehicles (mopeds, go-karts, ATVs, etc.) are not allowed. Floats may be pulled by adult-operated lawnmowers, garden tractors, or ATVs (committee approval required).
Prizes: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals in each category (group entries receive ribbons plus one medal). Results will be posted at the Information Trailer after the parade.

The Big Parade: A Pancake Day Tradition
The Best of Parade prize just got even sweeter! Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Iowa Trust & Savings Bank, the top float in this year’s Big Parade will take home an incredible $1,000 prize. Their support helps keep Pancake Day growing and grooving—and we can’t wait to see which float rises to the top in 2025.
In addition to the Best of Parade award, cash prizes of $350 for 1st place and $150 for 2nd place will be awarded in three categories:
