Appanoose County Conservation Camping Treasure Hunt

Camping Treasure Hunt at Lelah Bradley Campground
Kick off the camping season with a weekend of outdoor fun at the Camping Treasure Hunt hosted by the Appanoose County Conservation Board at Lelah Bradley Campground in Centerville, Iowa. Campers are invited to spend the weekend enjoying one of Appanoose County’s favorite outdoor destinations while participating in a unique treasure hunt designed for the whole family.
The event runs April 24–26, with the treasure hunt beginning Saturday, April 25 at 9:00 a.m. Participants will meet at Shelter #1 where ACCB staff will distribute treasure maps and explain the rules. Each campsite will receive its own map leading to a hand-made treasure created by ACCB staff, making every hunt a little different.
This special event is a fun way to explore Lelah Bradley Park and Reserve, meet fellow campers, and celebrate the start of spring camping in Appanoose County.

Registration & Camping Information
Camping is $25 per night with a two-night minimum stay required to participate. Campers must reserve their site by calling 641-856-8528, and reservations must be prepaid by cash or check by April 17.
Please note that the campground shower house may not yet be open, so participants must be camping in a unit with access to a bathroom.
