I want to give the biggest thank you to Michael Matthes, our previous Executive Director. Mike has been a rock star, guiding PACT to new heights and laying the groundwork for our future successes. His leadership and dedication have been invaluable, and we’re all grateful for his hard work. Good thing he isn’t leaving us, just yet! Mike will be working Tuesday-Thursday focused solely on Economic Development for Appanoose County.
As I take the reins, I’m bursting with ideas and enthusiasm for what’s next. Here are some of my top goals:
- Engaging All Types of Businesses: We want to create a buzzing business scene where all enterprises, big and small, can flourish. By fostering collaboration and championing innovation, we’ll keep Appanoose County at the forefront of economic vitality.
- Providing Exceptional Benefits and Expertise to Our Members: Our members are the heartbeat of PACT. We’re committed to delivering top-notch benefits and resources to help your businesses shine. From workshops and networking events to expert advice, we’ll give you the tools to tackle today’s challenges and seize tomorrow’s opportunities. Learn more about becoming a PACT member here

- Engaging Our Volunteer Base: PACT is a volunteer-driven organization, and our volunteers are the true heroes behind our success. We’re excited to involve our volunteer base even more, tapping into their energy, ideas, and passion to drive our initiatives forward. Enroll in our Volunteer Incentive Program for individuals in 6th grade through adulthood!
I can’t wait to team up with all of you to elevate Centerville as the go-to destination for business, tourism, and community life. Together, we’ll achieve amazing things and create a bright, prosperous future. On a personal note, I’m so excited to be able to serve the community that I grew up in and love so dearly. When I moved back to Centerville, I never dreamed I would get this opportunity!
