DESCRIPTION:Get ready to eat your way through the 2026 Appanoose County Restaurant Week!\nRestaurant Week is a week-long celebration of local flavor\, inviting residents and visitors to explore the incredible variety of bars\, cafés\, diners\, and restaurants that make our community deliciously unique. Whether you’re a loyal regular or someone who loves trying something new\, this is your excuse to step outside your usual order and taste what Appanoose County has to offer. \nThroughout the week\, participating restaurants will feature specials\, signature dishes\, and “Best of” category entries — from burgers and appetizers to desserts and drinks. It’s the perfect opportunity to: \n\nTry a restaurant you’ve never visited\nSample a featured dish or limited-time special\nRally your friends for a progressive dinner night\nCast your votes and cheer on your favorites\n\nAnd the fun doesn’t stop there. \nRestaurant Week leads right into Shop 2nd Saturday: Restaurant Rewards. Diners are encouraged to save their receipts from participating restaurants during Restaurant Week. For every $50 spent\, you’ll receive $10 in Appanoose Bucks to use locally. It’s our way of saying thank you for supporting local — and giving you a reason to keep the celebration going. \nRestaurant Week is about more than great food. It’s about supporting small businesses\, celebrating local talent\, and showing up for the places that show up for our community all year long. \nSo make your reservations\, bring your appetite\, and let’s make it a week full of flavor. \nFor Local Restaurants & Bars\nRestaurant Week is open to PACT member businesses. This free\, casual morning meet-up is hosted at the PACT office and is open to business owners\, entrepreneurs\, and community partners from across Appanoose County. \nEach month\, these gatherings alternate between morning and evening to better fit busy schedules and make it easier for everyone to attend. At each session\, you’ll get business support\, hear updates from the PACT team\, and connect with other local business leaders to share ideas and build relationships. \nAttendance is free\, and you don’t need to be a PACT member to join—though membership is always encouraged as a way to support PACT’s mission and enjoy additional benefits.

SUMMARY:Appanoose County Conservation Camping Treasure Hunt
DESCRIPTION:Camping Treasure Hunt at Lelah Bradley Campground\nKick off the camping season with a weekend of outdoor fun at the Camping Treasure Hunt hosted by the Appanoose County Conservation Board at Lelah Bradley Campground in Centerville\, Iowa. Campers are invited to spend the weekend enjoying one of Appanoose County’s favorite outdoor destinations while participating in a unique treasure hunt designed for the whole family. \nThe event runs April 24–26\, with the treasure hunt beginning Saturday\, April 25 at 9:00 a.m. Participants will meet at Shelter #1 where ACCB staff will distribute treasure maps and explain the rules. Each campsite will receive its own map leading to a hand-made treasure created by ACCB staff\, making every hunt a little different. \nThis special event is a fun way to explore Lelah Bradley Park and Reserve\, meet fellow campers\, and celebrate the start of spring camping in Appanoose County. \n \nEvent DetailsDate: April 24–26Treasure Hunt Start Time: Saturday\, April 25 at 9:00 a.m.Location: Lelah Bradley Campground\, Centerville\, Iowa \nRegistration & Camping InformationCamping is $25 per night with a two-night minimum stay required to participate. Campers must reserve their site by calling 641-856-8528\, and reservations must be prepaid by cash or check by April 17. \nPlease note that the campground shower house may not yet be open\, so participants must be camping in a unit with access to a bathroom. \nPack up the camper\, gather your crew\, and join the hunt—it’s the perfect way to welcome spring and start the camping season in Appanoose County.
