The Republican Party of Appanoose County will be hosting their 10th Annual We Support Our Troops 5k Run Run and Walk benefiting the Puppy Jake Foundation. Registration begins at 7am and the race will begin at 8am. The route begins at Lakeview Elementary goes around the Centerville Reservoir and finishes back at Lakeview Elementary. Pre-registration is available until May 6th and costs $20 and includes a t-shirt. Day-of registration is available for $5 and doesn’t guarantee and t-shirt, so get signed up early if you play to attend!

We select, train and place our service dogs with brave wounded warriors. Puppy Jake Foundation also provides resources for the advocacy, awareness and acceptability in public for those that require the assistance of a service dog.
All funds are raised through grass-roots efforts – including charity events, corporate sponsors and individual contributions.
Puppy Jake Foundation is based in Des Moines, IA metro area. We primarily serve veterans located throughout the Midwest, due to the requirements of follow up training.
