The 2024 Moulton Jamboree celebration will be taking place September 5th-7th 2024!

The Moulton Jamboree is back and promises an exciting mix of country charm and rock-n-roll flair from September 5th to 7th, 2024, in Moulton, Iowa. With the theme “A Little Bit Country, A Little Bit Rock-n-Roll,” this three-day celebration is packed with fun-filled activities, live entertainment, contests, and community events for all ages.

Thursday, September 5th: The festivities kick off at 5:00 PM with the Annual Kick-off BBQ at T&L Deli/Market, a perfect opportunity to savor delicious food while mingling with neighbors and friends. At 6:00 PM, the Prince and Princess Contest takes center stage, where local youngsters compete for the coveted titles. The night wraps up with the Talent Show at 7:00 PM on the Main Stage, showcasing a variety of performances from the community’s most talented individuals.

Friday, September 6th: Friday’s schedule starts in the afternoon at 2:00 PM with musical entertainment by Two Bobs, setting a lively atmosphere on the Main Stage. This performance is tailored for the younger crowd, especially those in grades PK-6. As the evening approaches, the Kiddie Parade at 6:00 PM, taking place in front of the Main Stage, promises to be an adorable spectacle. At 6:30 PM, prepare for some nostalgic fun with the ZZ Top “Legs” Competition, an event sure to draw laughter and applause. The day concludes with a performance by the band Wicked Ways at 8:00 PM, bringing high-energy rock music to the Main Stage.

Saturday, September 7th: Saturday is packed with activities, beginning bright and early at 8:00 AM with a classic Car Show, a must-see for automobile enthusiasts. You can find more details for that at the bottom of this page.  The Baby Contest follows at 9:00 AM in Pulliam Park, offering more cuteness overload as the little ones charm the judges.

The centerpiece of the day is the School Parade at 1:00 PM, a colorful and festive procession that marches through town. After the parade, attendees can test their knowledge in the Music Trivia Game Show at the Main Stage, where teams of five can compete for bragging rights. Concurrently, there will be an Antique Tractor Display, allowing a glimpse into agricultural history.

The afternoon continues with more family fun at 3:00 PM with the Kiddie Tractor Pull at the Bingo Tent. At 5:00 PM, the Queens Casual Wear competition takes place on the Main Stage, showcasing the participants’ style and grace. Round two of the Music Trivia Game Show follows at 5:30 PM, offering another chance to prove your musical knowledge.

At 6:00 PM, don your boots for Country Line Dancing Lessons at the Main Stage, a great way to get moving and enjoy the country vibes. The Queen Coronation at 7:00 PM will crown the event’s leading lady, and at 7:15 PM, the line dancing lessons continue for those eager to perfect their moves. The evening culminates with a performance by Bootcut, a country music band that will take the Main Stage at 8:00 PM, providing the perfect soundtrack for a lively night of dancing.

Throughout the weekend, attendees can enjoy Bingo every night, merchant prizes on Friday and Saturday following the entertainment, and a vendor fair that runs throughout the entire event, offering a variety of goods and crafts. If you’re interested in becoming a vendor

Sunday, September 8th: The Jamboree concludes on Sunday morning with a peaceful Church in the Park service at 9:30 AM, followed by breakfast, providing a perfect close to the weekend’s festivities.

Scott Amusements will also provide carnival rides throughout the event, with four wristband sessions available. Be sure to purchase advance ride tickets before September 8th to support the carnival and enjoy the rides at a discount.
